What is (and is not) Editing?

Like writing, editing is a craft that we practice daily. Professional editing is a service people use to get "fresh eyes" on written work, be it blog pieces, journal and mainstream articles, grants, theses, dissertations, book manuscripts, and other publicly consumed content. 

Editorial services that we offer include copy editing to remove errors and mistakes, enhance focus, sharpen key points, and enhance readability of your written work. After all, you want your audience to trust you and come back for more!!

If requested, we will work with you to arrange content to enhance flow. We can also work with you as you develop your work, say through a manuscript proposal. However, if you need content incorporated into your material, such as images or design templates, you will need to consult with a freelance designer. 

We do not localize content for another region, such as US English to UK English. For this work, you'll need an editor who specializes in localization. 

Fact checking, checking for copyright, and plagiarism do not fall under our purview. We assume you have checked your facts (or have someone doing that for you) and we assume you are not infringing upon anyone's previously published or stated ideas or any existing copyright.
